Who I am

I approach every project as a product problem first. Before writing a line of code I want to understand who uses it, why it needs to exist, and what "done" actually looks like — that clarity tends to eliminate more complexity than any refactor ever will.

I'm drawn to work that has real stakes: SaaS products with actual users, systems that need to scale, codebases that other developers will inherit. I like owning things end-to-end and I'm comfortable moving across the stack to get something shipped properly.

Outside of work I write on my blog — mostly to pressure-test whether I actually understand what I think I understand.

Contributed across three products on the Detected.co platform - ranked #1 in the RegTech 50, operating across 190+ jurisdictions: a case management dashboard, a verification portal, and an onboarding portal. • Architected a shared UI library (50+ components: atoms, molecules, organisms, dynamic form primitives) in a monorepo package consumed across the verification and onboarding portals - built and maintained with Storybook. • Delivered the 7-language multilingual frontend for Detected.co with locale-aware routing and consistent cross- locale UX across all three portals. • Owned frontend UI layer and GBG API integration for the identity verification module - enabling compliant KYC onboarding flows within the platform. • Optimized performance across data-heavy surfaces - implemented virtualized tables, lazy loading, pagination, code splitting, and PDF generation optimization for large compliance datasets spanning multiple portals. • Built live leaderboard UI, real-time interaction animations, and API integration for LaraConnect - an internal gamification platform prototyped as a future SaaS product. • Delivered new feature modules end-to-end in Agile sprint cycles, collaborating directly with UK-based stakeholders on requirements, scope, and delivery.
